Tinakilly Country House is a luxurious 4 star hotel in Wicklow, Eire. The venue boasts 14 acres of stunning and mature landscaped gardens that overlook the Irish Sea.
Recently taken over, the venue already had a space for smaller functions and a restaurant but were looking for an event marquee to increase their capacity.
However, being located on the east coast of Ireland, approximately 50 minutes from Dublin, they knew the potential was there for the Dublin wedding market. The house along with the grounds and location were ideal for weddings but they needed more space if they were to attract this market and accommodate larger events. With the additional space of an event marquee they could begin to offer this at a more peaceful and picturesque venue than those offered in and around the city.
HTS were contacted and within a couple of days were on site to go through the clients’ marquee requirements. The hotel had a perfect location for the wedding marquee with views overlooking the sea.
HTS provided a THERMO roof Premium structure with a 5.00m entrance pagoda unit. The main structure was complemented with large double glazed walling panels and solid insulated panels at the back. Once the structure had been erected, the client created an interior décor with a Victorian period theme.
The combination of the fabulous location and stunning event marquee, with the noise reducing THERMO roof, led to the venue being chosen to host the 2014 popular television show, The Great Irish Bake Off.
